Interconnected Mobility and Autonomous Driving as Innovation Catalysts are at the Focus at IAA

img_2757For Germany as an automotive nation, the industry’s digitalization presents an opportunity for international leadership. The interconnection of traffic is not only the responsibility of a single industry alone – this far-reaching change can only be manageable and successful in cooperation with other industries. This is highlighted in the “New Mobility World” forum in Hall 3.1, where SemVox is exhibiting at Stand A21 from September 15 – 18, alongside automotive manufacturers, OEMS and IKT-suppliers, energy suppliers and service providers, as well as councils and insurance companies.

In his opening address to the IAA 2015, Volker Bouffier, Minister President of Hesse, emphasized that intelligent systems in a connected mobility need to be successfully created through innovations on all levels. Chancellor Angela Merkel added that a third of all funding for research and development in Germany is currently allocated to the automotive sector and that innovation and new concepts are key to securing Germany’s status in the automotive industry – and need hence to be advanced even further.

With ODP S3, SemVox offers an efficient platform for the development of the most advanced HMI-systems on the market world-wide, both in the automotive sector or other fields. Voice-based and multimodal control concepts are gaining importance in the course of the development towards autonomous driving. A convenient and safe end product are therefore as important to SemVox as the efficient and simple design of these solutions.
