After a successful *A-SPICE lvl. 1 assessment in 2019, the assessment for lvl. 2 took place in March 2024.
Despite being in full development for a variety of projects, we passed the assessment with flying flags and outstanding results.
All development processes achieved Level 2 and the cyber security processes that were assessed for the first time also immediately achieved Level 1. We can be more than proud of these results.
In the words of our Managing Director Norbert Pfleger:
“I would like to thank everyone involved from preparation to realization – you all did a fantastic job and proved once again that anything is possible if you work together as a team. Once again, a big thank you to everyone involved!”

” A-SPICE [edited due to trademarking] is a maturity model adapted for the automotive industry. It assesses the maturity of development processes for electronic and software-based systems (e.g., ECUs). It is based on an initiative of the Special Interest Group Automotive and the Quality Management Center (QMC) in the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA).
The abbreviation SPICE stands for Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination. Automotive SPICE (also commonly abbreviated as ASPICE) combines a process reference model and a process assessment model in one standard.
It conforms to the regulations of the ISO/IEC 33xxx family (process assessment), e.g., ISO/IEC 33001, ISO/IEC 33002, ISO/IEC 33004, and ISO/IEC 33020.”
